Manara Education C.I.C. is an independent, non-sectarian Muslim organisation which supports holistic approaches to Islamic education and parenting, and academic excellence and virtue for young people. We promote an open, peaceful and inclusive approach and active engagement with our society and world.
We support parents who wish to be more involved in their children's education, whether through flexi-schooling or home education. We also support 'human scale' education, multi-age learning, personalised learning, education for sustainability, green living, Fair Trade, and parental choice.
Our curriculum at Manara Academy is inspired by Montessori and Classical education grounded in Islamic perspectives. Our staff are CRB checked, our curriculum provides the foundations of a good education, and our pupils make good to excellent progress learning in a caring, home-like environment.
- Manara Academy flexi-schooling programme for children in Years 1 through 11/GCSE;
- A full Montessori Primary Diploma course taught on-site;
- Parenting classes with Islamic and Montessori perspectives
- Developing an EcoSchool and Centre for Sustainable Living
